You’ve explored the Lovelu services, dreamed about the kind of wedding you want, and maybe even imagined how the dance floor will look once the party’s in full swing. But before you click book on one of our packages, there’s one important step we recommend: the discovery call.

So… what is a discovery call? And why does it matter?

A discovery call is a relaxed, no-pressure chat between you and me. It’s your chance to tell us what you want, what you need, and what’s stressing you out. It’s my chance as to listen, ask questions, and understand your vision, style, and priorities. Think of it as your wedding planning “welcome conversation” — where we get to know each other and figure out what kind of support will best fit you.

Why Do We Start With a Discovery Call?

You get clarity. You might be looking at our packages — Full Lovelu Story, One Perfect Day, Destination Getaway — and wondering, Which one is right for us? On the call, we’ll walk through what you’re dreaming of and what level of support you actually need (it’s not always what you first think!).

I get context. Every couple is unique, and no two weddings are the same. A discovery call helps me understand your expectations, your worries, your Pinterest boards, your “this has to be included” list — so I can recommend the package that truly fits, not just what sounds good on paper.

We build connections. You’re trusting me with one of the biggest days of your life — so we need to make sure we click! This is your space to ask me questions, get a feel for how I work, and see if you feel comfortable and confident moving forward together.

What Happens On the Call?

You’ll introduce yourselves (tell me a bit about you as a couple!)
You’ll share your vision — what you’re dreaming of, what you’re excited about, and what’s keeping you up at night.
We’ll talk through your needs — do you need full planning, just wedding day coordination, or maybe destination support?
I’ll walk you through how I work and what the next steps would be if we move forward together.

Do You Have to Book a Wedding Package After the Call?

Nope! The discovery call is totally free and comes with no obligation. It’s designed to help you decide whether working with Lovelu is the right fit for you — and to help me understand whether I’m the right wedding planner for you..
