My Lovelu Chapter - Victoire

I was pretty nervous the first day of my internship, but when I saw Louise and Noëlla welcoming me so warmly, I was instantly relieved and so happy to be there. In the first week we directly had a wedding on the Saturday, I was so excited to see how everything worked, and I loved it, I couldn't wait to see more!

I have learned a lot of new things, and discovered a passion for design and creating videos! I loved to film BTS on weddings and venue visits, and to create different videos to promote Lovelu on social media. Also, I got to design a lot of mood boards and I really enjoyed searching for the best inspirations on Pinterest to prepare the best events!

I really had the chance during my six months in Stockholm to live different experiences thanks to Louise, and I am so grateful for everything that I have discovered, and here are a few of the best experiences during my internship:

The styled shoot

One of my best experiences at Lovelu was the styled shoot that we designed from the beginning. We wanted to create something to really show our vision, so it had to be something matching the Lovelu voice to reflect what the brand truly is. 

I had the opportunity to create the mood board from scratch and see it come true in real life in a beautiful venue, Bankettsalen in the heart of Stockholm. I loved everything about this shoot, because it was amazing to see which vendors could match what we wanted to do, how to make it really happen.

I even got to try on some wedding dresses to see which one was the best fit for the shoot! It was really fun and scared my parents a bit when I sent them the pictures haha. Then, on the day, it was also incredible to see everybody in action, and working their best to make the most of this styled shoot. 

Everyone was so talented and inspiring, it was beautiful to see the team working hard to make the vision come to life. This is when I thought that I would maybe love to work in design later in the future.

Venue visits

The multiple venues that I had the chance to visit with Louise, I am so grateful for this, because I could discover so many beautiful places! We visited so many different venues, like Fotografiska and Vår Gård, but my favourite ones were Idöborg and Engeltofta herrgård in Gävle. 

Idöborg because it is a small and beautiful island in the Stockholm archipelago, we spent a whole day there and we had so much fun with Louise! It was an amazing day. 

Then, our last venue visit was in Gävle and it was snowing!!! I was so happy to see so much snow, it was on my bucket list before going back to France. And what a better place to see snow than in Gävle! It was truly magical. 

The weddings, of course

The weddings of course!! I loved to see all the different weddings and couples getting married this summer. It is so interesting to see how every wedding can have its whole different vibe than the others. 

I will particularly remember Sofia & Morten, because they were my first wedding in my first week and everything went so smoothly. I was so happy to begin with this beautiful wedding and sweet couple. 

Then, of course, I will remember Daniel & Daniel and their Gatsby-themed wedding. Everything went so smoothly and  it was the most fun wedding we had!

I will forever remember my first ever internship, everything was so special! I am so grateful for everything that I have learned and discovered thanks to Louise during my time in Stockholm. I could not have wished for a better internship. I fell in love with Stockholm and Sweden in general and I will definitely come back. I am going back home with a head full of unforgettable memories ❤️

Thank you for everything Lulu delulu!! I can’t wait to see how Lovelu will grow in the future, and I will definitely follow everything from France!
