A 70s Disco Birthday Bash at Häringe Slott

Glitter, groove, and pure good vibes, this 70s disco-inspired birthday celebration at a beautiful castle just outside Stockholm, was an unforgettable night of sparkle and energy. Planned and designed by Lovelu, this event transformed one of Sweden’s most iconic castles into a Studio 54–style dance floor filled with rhythm, color, and pure joy.

After creating a dreamy Bridgerton ball at the same venue, we turned up the tempo for this birthday bash, mixing retro nostalgia with a modern twist to create a celebration that shimmered from start to finish.

A Castle Turned Disco Wonderland

Häringe Slott’s historic grandeur set the perfect stage for a modern disco transformation. The ballroom was filled with shimmering details, metallic accents, and an explosion of light and color. Sparkling disco ball, mirrored surfaces caught every flicker of movement, and the atmosphere felt electric from the first beat. It was a 70s-inspired wonderland that blended old-world charm with contemporary energy, the perfect setting for a luxury birthday party in Sweden.

Fashion, Flash, and Funk

Guests embraced the theme with enthusiasm, arriving in sequins, flared trousers, platform shoes, and bold prints. Every outfit told a story, and the collective effect was pure disco glamour. The mix of sparkle, style, and confidence captured the spirit of the 70s perfectly, fun, fearless, and full of life.
